Food Sensitivity Testing

Testing for sensitivites or 'allergies' can give you excellent guidelines to achieving fast relief from symptoms. This test is done with a MSAS machine which gives very specific information about your sensitivities to a vast range of foods. By tailoring the diet and supplementation accordingly you can achieve improvements in your health within a short space of time.

With the MSAS machine I can also test for vitamin and mineral deficiencies and sensitivities to environmental substances, which allows me to be very specific in devising a programme for you.

Energy readings are taken at acupuncture points and they are compared with energy values of homeopathic potencies of foods or substances that are programmed into the computer. No needles are used - a test probe is applied to an acupuncture point on your finger while you hold an electrode in the other hand, thus completing the circuit. All you feel is the light touch of the probe administered by me.

If the reading indicates a sensitivity then that is relevant to you at that time. It can indicate that you do not tolerate the substance and that it weakens you or stresses you. An abnormal reading in some cases can also indicate a deficiency of that substance, for instance of a specific vitamin or mineral.

The MSAS machine is capable of much more and can be used to test foods and remedies that are not programmed into the software. So if there is anything unusual that you come into contact with, bring a sample of it along to the consultation and we'll test it!
